Privacy notice

How we collect and use personal information through this website. Last updated: November 2026.

Who we are

APX Construction & Management Ltd, trading as APX Construction ("APX", "we", "us"), is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16710439, with our registered office at 3, Prince Of Wales House, Bluecoats Avenue, Hertford, SG14 1PB.

What we collect

  • Project enquiries: your name, company, email address, phone number, the type of client you are, the site postcode, and the project details you choose to give us.
  • Supply-chain registrations: the contact details of your firm's representative, your trade, the areas you cover, your team size, accreditations and any experience you describe.
  • Emails and calls: anything you send us directly.

Please don't include sensitive personal information (for example health information) in a website form.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal or quotation. Our lawful basis is to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, together with our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • To assess firms for our supply chain and to contact them about work opportunities. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in building a competent, properly vetted supply chain.
  • To keep records of our business dealings and to meet our legal obligations, for example tax and health and safety records.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share information only where we need to: with the service providers who host this website and deliver our forms and email; with our professional advisers (such as accountants, insurers and legal advisers); and with regulators or other authorities where the law requires it. Our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Clients, projects and approved subcontractors: for the duration of our relationship, and then for as long as we need to keep contract, tax and safety records — normally up to 12 years after a project ends, to cover potential claims.
  • Unsuccessful supply-chain registrations: up to 24 months.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal information; to ask us to correct it or delete it; to object to or restrict how we use it; and to request data portability where it applies. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
